Jagger, Inc.’s Ghost Hunter found room between horses in the stretch of the $200, 400 Presque Isle Mile Stakes on Saturday, took control a furlong from home and scored by a length and a half over fellow OBS graduate Tale of the Nile (March ’15, August ’14). It’s the first stakes victory for the 6-year-old gelding by Ghostzapper, trained by Jamie Ness, now 40-15-8-7 with earnings of $496,270. He breezed an eighth in :10 2/5 at the Under Tack Show prior to the 2012 OBS June Sale before he was purchased out of the McKathan Bros. consignment for $30,000. watch his under tack video
