Foreign Relations captures Churchill’s Louisville Stakes

Double O Racing’s Foreign Relations sat just off the pace in Saturday’s $222,300 Louisville Stakes at Churchill Downs (G3), moved after the leaders turning for home, took over a furlong out and scored by a length and a half. It’s the first stakes win for the 5-year-old son of Karakontie (JPN), two-time OBS graduate, sold by Beth Bayer, Agent, at the 2019 October Yearlings Sale and then purchased for $19,000 out of the Pedro Bernal Perez consignment at the 2020 Spring Sale after working an Under Tack quarter in :22 2/5.  Trained by Connor Murphy, he’s now 7-2-1-1 and has earned $197,021.  watch his under tack video

Trained by Bob Baffert, the 3-year-old graded stakes placed son of Justify is now 6-2-2-0 and has earned $217,600. At the 2022 OBS Spring Sale, he breezed an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat and purchased for $600,000 out of the Hidden Brook consignment. watch his under tack video     Spring Sale walking video

Little Red Feather Racing’s Elm Drive was a convincing winner of Saturday’s $101,000 Mizdirection Stakes at Santa Anita, easing away late to win a length and a quarter. It’s the fourth stakes victory for the 4-year-old daughter of Mohaymen, trained by Phil D’Amato, now 10-5-0-1 with $408,140 in earnings. A two-time OBS graduate, she was purchased out of the Summerfield consignment at the 2020 October Yearling Sale then consigned to the 2021 March Sale by Paul Sharp, Agent, where she turned in an Under Tack eighth in :9 4/5 and was purchased for $165,000 by John Dowd on behalf of Little Red Feather Racing.  watch her under tack video  March Sale walking video
