Borders Racing Stable Ltd.’s Roaring Forties led from start to finish and scored by half a length to lead a 1-2-3 OBS sweep of Saturday’s $75,000 Sunshine Turf Stakes at Gulfstream Park. Fellow OBS graduates Hot Blooded (October’19) and Me and Mr. C (March ’19) were second and third. It’s the first stakes win for the 7-year-old Florida-bred gelding by Stormy Atlantic, trained by Katerina Vassilieva, now 24-6-3-1 with earnings of $280,924.
