And Tell Me Nolies takes Santa Anita’s Chandelier Stakes

Peter Redekop B. C., Ltd.’s And Tell Me Nolies scored her second straight graded stakes win in Saturday’s $201,000 Chandelier Stakes (G2) at Santa Anita. The Del Mar Debutante (G1) winner overcame a stumbling start, took command after turning for home and was best by three quarters of a length at the wire. Fellow OBS graduate Uncontrollable (April ’22) was second. Consigned by Off the Hook LLC, Agent, to the 2022 OBS Spring Sale, she was sold for $230,000 after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat. Red Baron’s Barn LLC and Rancho Temescal LLC’s Packs a Wahlop sat just off the lead in Santa Anita’s $203,000 Zuma Beach Stakes (G3) on Sunday, took over a furlong from home and drew off to win by 2-3/4 length over fellow OBS graduate Castleknock (March ’22) It’s the second straight graded stakes win for the 2-year-old colt by Creative Cause, trained by Jeff Mullins, now 4-3-0-0 with $230,000 in earnings. Consigned to the 2022 OBS Spring Sale by Envision Equine, Agent, he was sold for $270,000 after breezing an eighth in :10 flat at the Under Tack Show. watch his under tack video

Nice Guys Stables’ King Cause took the lead at the start of Aqueduct’s $150,000 Knickerbocker Stakes (G3) on Sunday and never looked back, cruising to a two-length victory. It’s the first graded stakes win for the 7-year-old son of Creative Cause, who turned in a Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5 at the 2017 OBS Spring Sale and was purchased out of the Parrish Farms consignment for $200,000 by Dennis O’Neill. Gary Barber’s Firing Bullets was a maiden going into the $150,900 Woodbine Cares Stakes on Saturday and a stakes winner at the finish after rallying in the stretch and getting up in the last jump to win by a nose. It was the second start for the 2-year-old filly by Firing Line, trained by Mark Casse, now 2-1-0-0 with $66,586 in earnings. Chester and Mary Broman’s Makin My Move raced wide to reach contention at the quarter pole in the $75,000 Honey Bee Stakes on Friday at the Meadowlands, took command in the stretch and drew away late to score by a length and three quarters. It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old filly by Carpe Diem, consigned to the 2021 OBS March Sale by Sequel Bloodstock, Agent for Chester & Mary Broman, where she went the ring after an Under Tack eighth in :9 4/5.
