Freedom Speaks, Danse Macabre capture stakes at Kentucky Downs

A pair of OBS graduates scored in stakes races on Tuesday at Kentucky Downs.

Carol A. Reitman’s Freedom Speaks rated kindly just off the pace in the $500,000 Music City Stakes, found room between horses a quarter mile out, then came with a charge to get up late and score by a head. Consigned by Best A Luck Farm LLC, Agent, to the Horses of Racing Age section of the 2022 OBS Winter Mixed Sale, she was sold for $145,000 after turning in a swift three eighths in :31 2/5 at the Under Tack Show. watch her under tack video

It’s the first stakes win for the 2-year-old daughter of Army Mule, purchased for $55,000 out of the Tom McCrocklin consignment at the 2022 OBS March Sale after working an Under Tack quarter in :20 4/5.
