Holy Cow Stable, LLC’s Naughty Gal, living up to her name, was a 2-1/2 length winner of Saratoga’s $194,000 Adirondack Stakes (G3) after leading from the start, drifting out badly after turning for home, but maintaining her lead far from the rail down the stretch. Fellow OBS graduate Janis Joplin (April ’22), still a maiden, was a game second. It’s the first stakes win for the 2-year-old filly by Into Mischief, now 3-2-0-0 with $148,735 in earnings for trainer D. Wayne Lukas. At the 2022 OBS March Sale, she turned in an Under Tack quarter in :20 4/5 and was purchased for $350,000 out of the Pick View LLC consignment. watch her under tack video     March Sale walking video

Kretz Racing LLC’s Cabo Spirit relaxed off the pace in the early going of Del Mar’s $150,500 La Jolla Handicap (G3), circled horses on the turn to reach contention, took the lead in deep stretch and was best by half a length. It’s the first graded stakes win for the 3-year-old son of Pioneerof the Nile, consigned to the 2021 April Sale by Eddie Woods, Agent, and purchased for $575,000 by Gayle Van Leer, Agent, after speeding a quarter in :20 4/5 at the Under Tack Show. Now 13-3-3-3 for trainer George Papaprodromou, he has earned $312,560 to date. watch his under tack video   Spring Sale walking video

Bridlewood Farm’s Bay Storm tracked the leaders from the inside in Monmouth’s $102,000 Incredible Revenge Stakes, took charge inside the final furlong and was best by a length at the wire. That’s two stakes wins for the 4-year-old daughter of Kantharos, trained by Jonathan Thomas, now 9-4-3-1 with $291,080 in earnings. At the 2020 OBS Spring Sale, she sped an Under Tack quarter in :20 4/5 and was purchased out of the Woodford Thoroughbreds consignment for $400,000.  watch her under tack video     Spring Sale walking video

Ed and Susie Orr’s All in Sync had one horse beaten early in the $100,000 Twin Spires Turf Sprint Stakes at Ellis Park, but the 3-year-old colt by Macleans Music circled horses on the turn to reach contention then sustained his rally down the stretch to score by a neck. Now 9-4-2-0 for trainer Steve Asmussen, he has earned $280,228. At the 2021 OBS Spring Sale, he was sold for $310,000 by Off the Hook, Agent for Global Thoroughbreds, after breezing an Under Tack quarter in :20 3/5. watch his under tack video   Spring Sale walking video
