Onesto (IRE) takes the G1 Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp

Gerard Augustin-Normand, Jean Etienne Dubois, Ecurie Hunter Valley, Haras d’Etreham, Ecurie Billion, Ecurie Elag, Fabrice Chappet & Hubert Guy’s Onesto (IRE) turned in a powerful rally after straightening away in the Grand Prix de Paris (G1) at Longchamp on Thursday, took the lead a furlong from home and scored his first grade one victory by a neck. It’s the second stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Frankel (GB), trained by Fabrice Chappet, now 6-3-1-0 with earnings of $469,370. Consigned to the 2021 OBS Spring Sale by Wavertree Stables, Inc.
