Trio of youngsters fastest at June Under Tack finale

Fillies by Good Magic, Practical Joke and a colt by Adios Charlie breezed quarters in :20 4/5 to post the fastest works at the distance at the sixth and final session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2022 June Sale of Two Year Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age.

  • Hip No. 984, a bay filly by Good Magic consigned by New Horizon Farm, Inc., Agent, is a half sister to grade one stakes placed Thirteen Squared out of graded stakes winner House of Fortune, by Free House.
  • Hip No. 1043, consigned by Ocala Stud, is a bay colt by Adios Charlie out of Kaiken, by First Samurai, from the family of grade one stakes winner Justin Phillip.
  • Hip No. 1109, a dark bay or brown filly by Practical Joke consigned by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent, is a half sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner Forewarned out of graded stakes placed stakes winner Fortune Play, by Five Star Day.

Nine horses shared honors for the session’s fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :10 flat.

  • Hip 938, consigned by Advanced Thoroughbreds LLC, Agent, is a gray or roan colt by Cloud Computing out of Gray Delta, by Bernstein, from the family of graded stakes winner Noisette.
  • Hip 947, a dark bay or brown colt by Girvin consigned by Dynasty Thoroughbreds, is out of stakes placed Grinch, by Salt Lake, from the family of stakes winner Miss Missile.
  • Hip 960, a chestnut filly by California Chrome consigned by Las Palmas Farm, is out of Heart of Mine, by Peppered Cat, a full sister to stakes placed China Prince.
  • Hip 962, a chestnut colt by Mor Spirit consigned by Kings Equine, Agent, is a half brother to stakes winner Xtreme Lyra out of Hen Escape, by Henny Hughes, a half sister to grade one stakes stakes winner Benbaun.
  • Hip 972, a chestnut colt by Accelerate consigned by Pike Racing, Agent, is out of History Supreme, by Speightstown, a daughter of graded stakes placed Bahama Bound.
  • Hip 1028, consigned by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent, is a bay filly by Bolt d’Oro out of graded stakes winner Jenny’s So Great, by Greatness, from the family of grade one stakes winner Supah Gem.
  • Hip 1046, consigned by Centofanti Thoroughbreds, Agent, is a chestnut filly by OBS graduate Collected out of Kathy’s Chance, by Union Rags, a half sister to graded stakes winner Free Judgement.
  • Hip 1062, a bay filly by Brody’s Cause consigned by Navas Equine, is out of Live and Love, by Distorted Humor, a daughter of graded stakes placed Love At Noon.
  • Hip 1079, a chestnut colt by Justify consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, is a half brother to graded stakes placed Earring out of graded stakes winner Together (IRE), by Galileo.

  • Hip No. 1027, consigned by J. J. Thoroughbreds, is a dark bay or brown colt by Handsome Mike out of Jeekers, by Forest Wildcat, a half sister to graded stakes winner Wow Me Free.
  • Hip No. 1044, Miss Shipman, a chestnut filly by Midshipman consigned by Cruzin’ Thoroughbreds, Agent, is out of Kalistoga Girl by Tapit, a daughter of stakes winner Calendar Girl.
  • Hip No. 1070, a gray or roan colt by Funtastic consigned by Lucan Bloodstock (Karl Keegan), Agent, is out of Peace Opportunity, by Point of Entry, a half sister to stakes placed Crawl From the Bar.

Two horses breezed quarters in :21 1/5.

  • Hip No. 959, Heartbreakprince, a gray or roan colt by Race Day consigned by Nice and Easy Thoroughbreds, is out of Hashtagsid, by Scat Daddy, a half sister to stakes winner Clear Pasaj.
  • Hip No. 964, consigned by Scenic Sales, is a chestnut filly by Tunwoo out of Her Special Way, by Put It Back, a half sister to stakes placed Forbidden Bear.

Hip No. 1163, a 3-year-old daughter of Uncaptured consigned by Shanbally Acres, sped three eighths in :33 flat to post the session’s fastest work at the distance. The chestnut filly is a half sister to stakes placed Elegant Zip out of Elegant Finish, by Speightstown, a daughter of graded stakes placed stakes winner Press Camp.

The fastest three eighths by a 2-year-old was in :33 3/5 by Hip No. 1064, a son of Lord Nelson consigned by 30-30 Ranch. The bay colt is out of Mambo Tale, by Tale of the Cat, a half sister to graded stakes winner Noble Moon.

The three-day 2022 OBS June Sale begins Tuesday June 7th with Hip No’s 1 – 374. Hip No.’s 375 – 748 will be offered on Wednesday, June 8th and Hip No.’s 749 – 1167 will sell on Thursday, June 9th. All sessions will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com, and also via the Blood-Horse, DRF, TDN and Past The Wire websites.

Under Tack results and videos are posted on the OBS website at obssales.com and can be viewed on kiosks in the breezeway and in the Video Room adjacent to the Horsemen’s Lounge. In-room viewing is available at The Courtyard by Marriott, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and the Ocala Hilton, plus lounge viewing is available at the Hilton.
