Monarch Stables Inc.’s Last Leaf led a 1-2-3 OBS sweep of Gulfstream’s $75,000 Game Face Stakes on Saturday, stalking the early pace, rallying to take command a furlong from home and drawing away to score by 3-1/2 lengths over Freedom Speaks (January ’22), with Rapturous (April ’21) checking in third. That’s three stakes wins for the 3-year-old graded stakes placed daughter of Not This Time, a two-time OBS graduate, sold by Sharon Biamonte, Agent, at the 2020 Winter Mixed Sale and then purchased for $23,500 out of the Kaizen Sales consignment at the 2020 October Selected Yearling Sale. Now 13-5-1-2 for trainer Ron Spatz, she has earned $227,902 to date.  Selected Yearling Sale walking video
