LRE Racing LLC and JEH Racing LLC’s Casa Creed successfully defended his title in Saturday’s $400,000 Jaipur Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park, saving ground into the stretch, swinging out to go after the leaders in the final furlong and going by late to score by half a length. That’s three graded stakes wins for the 6-year-old son of Jimmy Creed, who spent the winter racing in graded stakes in the middle east. Purchased for $15,000 out of the Janie Roper consignment at the 2017 OBS Winter Mixed Sale, he has compiled a 26-6-4-4 career record for trainer Bill Mott, and earned $1,428,308 to date.
