John Grossi’s Racing Corp.’s Maiden Beauty took the lead at the start of Thursday’s $97,000 Bay Ridge Stakes at Aqueduct and never looked back, opening daylight on the turn and drawing away down the stretch to a 3-3/4 length victory. It’s the second stakes win for the 5-year-old daughter of Revolutionary, who captured Belmont’s Lynbrook Stakes in her debut at two in 2018. Now trained by Robert N. Falcone, Jr., she has compiled a 35-9-6-4 career record and earned $628,912 to date. She was purchased for $40,000 out of the Niall Brennan Stable consignment at the 2018 OBS April Sale after working an Under Tack eighth in :10 3/5. watch her under tack video
