Starship Stables and Steven Dwoskin’s Starship Bonita, last of seven in the early going of Saturday’s $100,000 Sheer Drama Stakes at Gulfstream Park, moved up on the turn, came out for the drive, caught stablemate and fellow OBS graduate Starship Nala (January ’17) a sixteenth out and beat her by three quarters of a length. Thissmytime (April ’19) completed the OBS grad trifecta. It’s the fourth stakes win for the 6-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Gone Astray, winner of the Sheer Drama at three and now 20-4-3-3 for trainer Steve Dwoskin with $577,237 in earnings. The two-time OBS graduate was sold by The Acorn LLC, Agent, at the 2016 Selected Yearling Sale and then purchased for $72,000 out of the Whitman Sales consignment at the 2017 March Sale after breezing an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat. watch her under tack video    Selected Sale conformation photo

Terry Hamilton, Brian A. Lynch and Gary Baber’s Tobys Heart saved ground off the pace in Sunday’s $487,950 Music City Stakes, rallied on the rail to take command after straightening away in the stretch and drew off late to score by 2-3/4 lengths. Fellow OBS graduate Risky Reward (April ’20) settled for third. That’s three stakes wins for the graded stakes placed 3-year-old daughter of OBS graduate Jack Milton, consigned by Bold Arrow Thoroughbreds to the 2020 OBS March Sale, and sold for $45,000 after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5. Trained by Brian Lynch, she’s now 8-4-1-1 and has earned $494,750. watch her under tack video
