She went after her rival in the stretch, caught her a sixteenth out and beat her by three quarters of a length at the wire. It’s the third stakes win for the 5-year-old daughter of El Padrino, trained by Jorge Duarte, Jr., now 19-8-3-1 with $384,801 in earnings. It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old gelding by Animal Kingdom, purchased for $55,000 out of the Kaizen Sales consignment at the 2021 OBS Winter Mixed Sale.
