Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC and Willis Horton Racing LLC’s Bankit became the latest millionaire OBS graduate after romping to a 13-1/4 length victory in the $200,000 Commentator Stakes at Belmont on Memorial Day. It’s the fifth stakes win for the graded stakes placed 5-year-old son of Central Banker, consigned to the 2018 OBS March Sale by SGV Thoroughbreds LLC (Steven Venosa), Agent, where he breezed an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5 before he was purchased by Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC for $260,000. Now 30-6-10-4 for trainer Steve Asmussen, he has earned $1,027,875 to date.  watch his under tack video

David Melin, Leon Ellman & Laurie Plesa’s Miss Auramet stalked the leaders in the early going of Monmouth’s $76,500 Politely Stakes on Sunday, moved to the leaders between horses a quarter mile from home, opened up daylight in the stretch and cruised to a two length victory. It’s the second stakes score for the 5-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Uncaptured, a two-time OBS graduate, sold by Summerfield, Agent, at the 2017 October Yearling Sale and then purchased at the 2018 Spring Sale for $135,000 out of the Julie Davies consignment after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat.  Trained by Kathleen O’Connell, the win leaves her with a 22-9-6-3 career record and $416,900 in earnings. watch her under tack video

Boardshorts Stables LLC’s Navy Armed Guard tracked the early pace in Golden Gate’s $100,400 All American Stakes on Memorial Day, rallied to take command a furlong out and held off fellow OBS graduate Cupid’s Claws (April ’17) by three quarters of a length for the victory. It’s the first stakes win for the 6-year-old gelding by Midshipman, trained by Quinn Howey, now 31-8-5-7 with earnings of $263,536. After breezing an Under Tack eighth in :10 3/5 at the 2017 OBS Spring Sale, he was purchased out of the Ian Vickers consignment for $47,000. watch his under tack video
