The Supplemental Catalog for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2021 June Sale of Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age is now available via the OBS website at obssales.com and available in printed form at the OBS sales grounds beginning on or about Monday, May 31st.
Forty-eight two-year-olds and five Horses of Racing Age have been supplemented to the three-day sale, and will sell as Hip No.’s 875 – 927. All sessions begin at 10:30 a.m. Hip No.’s 1 – 316 will sell on Tuesday, June 9th; Hip No.’s 317 – 632 will be offered on Wednesday, June 10th and Hip No.’s 633 – 874 plus supplements 875 – 927 will sell on Thursday, June 11th.
There are five Under Tack Sessions. Hip No.’s 1 – 185 will go to the track on Wednesday, June 2nd, Hip No.’s 186 – 370 work on Thursday, June 3rd, Hip No.’s 371 – 554 will breeze on Friday, June 4th, Hip No.’s 555 – 738 go Saturday, June 5th and Hip No.’s 739 – 874 plus supplements 875 – 927 will go on Sunday, June 6th. All Under Tack sessions begin at 7:30 a.m.
The Under Tack Show and Sale will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, BloodHorse and Past The Wire websites.
OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the Spring Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials. The online catalog’s main page contains a link to a sortable master index providing searchable pedigree and consignor information as well as access to pedigree updates occurring since the catalog was printed.
The sortable master index has been updated with advanced search and filter capability and to allow shortlist creation. A link to instructions for using the new features can be found in the index header and a step by step tutorial is available in the index as well.
The iPad version of the catalog can be accessed via the equineline Sales Catalog App. The App allows users to download and view the catalog, receive updates and results, record notes and also provides innovative search, sort and rating capability.
