Mischevious Alex romps in Aqueduct’s Carter Handicap

Cash Is King LLC and LC Racing LLC’s Mischevious Alex rated just off the early pace in Aqueduct’s $300,000 Carter Handicap (G1), moved on the outside to reach the leaders turning for home, took over a furlong out and drew away to win by 5-1/2 lengths in hand. It’s the fourth graded stakes win for the 4-year-old colt by Into Mischief, consigned by Eisaman Equine to the 2019 OBS April Sale where he went through the ring after an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat. Terry Hutto’s American Bound got the 2-year-old racing season off and running in her debut at Keeneland on Friday with a 1-1/2 length wire to wire victory in a $60,000 maiden special weight dash. Trained by Joe Sharp, the 2-year-old daughter of American Freedom earned $36,000 for the effort. Consigned by Sharon Biamonte, Agent, to the 2020 OBS Winter Mixed Sale, she was purchased by Terry Hutto for $15,000.
