A pair of OBS graduates posted stakes wins on Saturday at Gulfstream Park West.

Shea D Boy’s Stable’s Shea D Summer is two for two and a stakes winner after a runaway victory in the $60,000 Juvenile Fillies Sprint Stakes. The 2-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Summer Front went right to the lead, shook off an early challenge, then drew away down the stretch to score by 6-3/4 lengths. Fellow OBS graduate Sky Proposal (March ’20) checked in third. Consigned by breeder Ocala Stud to the 2020 Spring Sale, she was purchased for $35,000 after turning in an Under Tack quarter in :21 2/5. Paradise Farms Corp.’s Tiz Possible Dear took the lead at the start of the $60,000 Millions Distaff Stakes and never looked back, cruising to a 2-1/2 length victory, with fellow OBS graduate Ceci Valentina (October ’18) settling for third. It’s the first stakes win for the 5-year-old Florida-bred mare by Prospective, trained by Peter Walder, now 28-9-3-5 with earnings of $255,070. Consigned by A. Clare Silva Jr., she went through the ring at the 2015 August Yearling Sale.
