It’s the second graded stakes win for the 3-year-old daughter of Munnings, consigned by Coastal Equine LLC (Jesse Hoppel), Agent, to the 2019 OBS April Sale where she went through the ring after breezing an Under Tack eighth in :9 4/5. Sonata Stable’s Premier Star pressed the pace from the inside in the early going of Monmouth’s $102,000 Jersey Shore Stakes on Wednesday, slipped through on the rail to take the lead on the turn, then drew off down the stretch to score by 4-3/4 lengths. Fellow OBS graduate Meru (April ’19) rallied late to pick up third. It’s the first stakes win for the graded stakes placed 3-year-old colt by Tapiture, now 7-4-0-1 with earnings of $160,750 for trainer Mike Trombetta.
