William & Corinne Heiligbrodt’s Yaupon, slammed from both sides at the start of Thursday’s $200,000 Chick Lang Stakes (G3) at Pimlico, took the lead quickly, set the pace, then drew away in the stretch to score by four lengths. Fellow OBS graduate Relentless Dancer (April ’19) checked in third. That’s two straight graded stakes wins for the unbeaten 3-year-old colt by Uncle Mo, trained by Steve Asmussen, now four for four with earnings of $288,264.
