Cross Border scores in Saratoga’s Lubash Stakes

Three Diamonds Farm’s Cross Border moved into contention on the turn in the $79,500 Lubash Stakes on Wednesday at Saratoga, took the lead after straightening away in the stretch and drew off late to win by 6-1/4 lengths. It’s the first stakes win for the 6-year-old graded stakes placed ridgling by English Channel, trained by Mike Maker, now 25-8-5-1 with $396,971 in earnings. Consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent, to the 2016 OBS June Sale, he was sold for $10,000 after breezing a quarter in :22 2/5 at the Under Tack Show. watch his under tack video
