The bay colt, whose eighth in :9 4/5 was co-fastest at the distance at Monday’s Under Tack session, is out of Roberta Turner, by Smart Strike, a half sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner Foxy Danseur.
- Hip No. 129, a daughter of Into Mischief consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds, Agent, was sold to Spendthrift Farm for $400,000. The bay filly, who worked a quarter on Sunday in :21 flat, is out of stakes winner Midnight Visit, by Henny Hughes, a half sister to graded stakes placed Wild Chick.
- Hip No. 209, a son of Air Force Blue consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc., (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, went to Justin Casse, Agent for M. V. Magnier for $400,000. The dark bay or brown colt, who turned in an Under Tack quarter on Monday in :20 4/5, is out of No Splits, by Smart Strike, and is a half brother to stakes placed Lucky Jingle.
- Live Oak Plantation paid $350,000 for Hip No. 179, a daughter of Munnings consigned by Mayberry Farm, Agent. The dark bay or brown filly, who worked a quarter in :21 1/5 on Monday, is out of Mylitta, by Sky Mesa, a half sister to graded stakes winner Malossol.
- Hip No. 1239, a daughter of Tapit consigned by S B M Training and Sales, Agent, went to Solis / Litt for $350,000. The chestnut filly, who breezed an eighth in :10 1/5 on Sunday, is out of stakes placed Miss Super Quick, by Rock Hard Ten, a half sister to grade one stakes winner Callback.
- Hip No. 282, Speeding, a daughter of Into Mischief consigned by Gene Recio, Agent, was purchased by D. J. Stable LLC for $300,000. The bay filly, who worked an eighth in :10 flat on Monday, is out of Prancing, by Tapit, a half sister to graded stakes winner Dancing Solo.
- Hip No. 1246, Wicked Pretty, a daughter of Violence consigned by Randy Bradshaw, Agent, went to Karl & Cathi Glassman, E Plesa, Agent for $280,000. The chestnut filly, who worked an eighth in :10 flat on Monday, is a half sister to stakes winner Appealing Spring out of Pretty Springs, by Wekiva Springs.

The dark bay or brown colt, who breezed a quarter last Sunday in :21 flat, is out of Kenny Lane, by Forestry, a half sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner Wasseema.
- Hip No. 286, a daughter of Street Boss whose eighth in :9 4/5 was co-fastest at the distance on Monday, was sold for $230,000 to Steven W. Young, Agent. The chestnut filly, consigned by Grassroots Training & Sales LLC, is out of Pride of Place, by A.P. Indy, a full sister to grade one stakes winner Flashing.
- Jonathan Thomas, Agent, went to $225,000 for Hip No. 149, a bay colt by Blame out of Mommo, by Speightstown, from the family of grade one stakes winner Siphonic. Consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc., (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, his quarter in :20 4/5 was co-fastest at the distance at Sunday’s Under Tack session.
- E.B., Agent for West Point Thoroughbreds, Inc. went to $200,000 for Hip No. 2, a son of Not This Time out of stakes winner Karen’s Silk, by High Cotton. The chestnut colt, who turned in an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5 on Sunday, was consigned by Gene Recio, Agent.
- Hip No. 172, a son of Twirling Candy consigned by Cary Frommer LLC, Agent, was sold to Mike McCarty for $200,000. The bay colt, who breezed an eighth on Sunday in :10 1/5, is out of My Curlina, by Belong to Me, a half sister to graded stakes placed Victory Nor Defeat.
- Hip No. 264, an Irish bred daughter of Lope de Vega who breezed a quarter in :21 2/5 on Monday, went to Gold Mark Farm LLC for $200,000. The bay filly, consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, is out of Pirate Cove, by Lawman, and is a half sister to graded stakes winner High Heeled.
- Hip No 1235, a son of Candy Ride (ARG) consigned by Coastal Equine LLC (Jesse Hoppel), Agent, was sold to Clay Scherer, Agent for Flurry Racing Stable LLC for $200,000. The bay colt, who worked an eighth in :10 flat on Sunday, is a half brother to graded stakes winner J Boys Echo and a half brother to current 3-year-old Echo Town, winner of three of five starts and second by a head in the Bachelor Stakes at Oaklawn.
For the day, 133 horses brought a total of $12,166,500 compared with 166 selling for a total of $15,346,000 at last year’s opening session. The average price was $91,477, compared to $92,446 in 2019 while the median price was $50,000, compared with $55,000 a year ago. The buyback percentage was 30.7%; it was 21.3% last year.
