Blame, Quality Road colts fastest at Spring Sale Under Tack opener

Colts by Blame and Quality Road sped quarters in :20 4/5 to post the fastest works at the distance at the first session of the Under Tack Show for Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2020 Spring Sale of Two Year Olds in Training.

  • Hip No. 149, consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc., (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, is a bay colt by Blame out of Mommo, by Speightstown, from the family of grade one stakes winner Siphonic.
  • Hip No. 1236, a bay colt by Quality Road consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent, is a half brother to stakes placed Into Mystic, out of Loveofalifetime, by Medaglia d’Oro, a half sister to graded stakes winner Savorthetime.

Hip No. 1240, a bay filly by Into Mischief consigned by Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds LLC, Agent, posted the fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :9 4/5. She’s out of Miss Vigilance, by War Pass, a half sister to grade one stakes winner Man From Wicklow.

  • Hip No. 62, consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent, is a chestnut filly by Ironicus out of Liquify, by More Than Ready, from the family of graded stakes winner Ocean Queen.
  • Hip No. 129, a bay filly by Into Mischief consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds, Agent, is out of stakes winner Midnight Visit, by Henny Hughes, a half sister to graded stakes placed Wild Chick.
  • Hip No. 176, also consigned by Eddie Woods, is a chestnut colt by Tapiture out of stakes placed My Golden Quest, by Coronado’s Quest and a half brother to stakes winning OBS Spring Sales graduate My Point Exactly.

Hip No. 162, a chestnut filly by Point of Entry consigned by Golden Rock Thoroughbreds, Agent, turned in a quarter in :21 1/5. She’s out of stakes winner Mountain Mambo, by Mt. Livermore, from the family of grade one stakes winner Love Smitten.

Hip No. 13, a bay filly by Carpe Diem consigned by Gayle Woods, Agent for Eric A. Delvalle, turned in the session’s fastest three eighths, timed in :33 2/5. Out of Ki Maniere (IRE), by Sadler’s Wells, she’s a half sister to graded stakes placed Glory.
