That’s six graded stakes wins for the 7-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Indy Wind, a two time OBS graduate, sold by The Acorn at the 2014 August Yearling Sale then consigned by Halcyon Hammock Farm to the 2015 April Sale where she went through the ring after breezing an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5. Rockingham Ranch’s Billy Batts saved ground early in Friday’s $84,750 Baffle Stakes at Santa Anita, came out for the drive, reached the lead a furlong from home and was best by a length and a half over fellow OBS graduate Rager (June ’19, April ’19). It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old son of City Zip, second to fellow 2019 OBS March graduate Structor in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1). Now 8-2-3-1 for trainer Peter Miller, he has earned $302,560 to date.
