Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi’s Gladiator King scored his second straight graded stakes win in Thursday’s $200,000 Al Shindagha Sprint Stakes (G3) at Meydan in Dubai, coming from just off the pace with a determined stretch drive to catch and beat fellow OBS graduate Truck Salesman (March ‘18) by a length. Fellow OBS graduate Drafted (March ’16, August ’15), winner of the 2019 renewal, checked in fourth. The 4-year-old colt by Curlin was consigned by Thoroughbred Champions Training Center to the 2018 OBS June Sale, where he went through the ring after turning in an Under Tack quarter in :21 1/5.
