Ruggeri Stable, Richard Coburn, Script R Farm and Michael Miceli’s Mrs. Orb came from off the pace to reach the lead a furlong from home in Sunday’s $105,475 Bay Ridge Stakes at Aqueduct then held off a strong late charge to post her first stakes victory by a nose. That’s four straight wins for the 4-year-old daughter of Orb, trained by co-owner Michael Miceli, now 16-5-3-3 with $266,020 in earnings. She breezed an Under Tack eighth in :10 4/5 before she was purchased for $30,000 out of the Classic Bloodstock consignment at the 2017 OBS June Sale.  watch her under tack video

Calumet Farm’s Tracksmith wrapped up a good year at the races on Saturday in Fair Grounds’ $75,000 Woodchopper Stakes, overcoming a wide trip to take charge after turning for home and battling to a half length victory. It’s the second stakes win for the graded stakes placed 3-year-old colt by Street Sense, consigned to the 2018 April Sale by RiceHorse Stable (Brandon & Ali Rice), Agent, and sold for $130,000 after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5. Now 10-4-3-0 for trainer Joe Sharp, he has earned $321,433 to date. watch his under tack video
