Gary Barber’s Lookin to Strike tracked the early leader in Saturday’s $150,000 Ontario Derby (G3) at Woodbine, took over a furlong from home and held off a late charge by stablemate Curlin’s Honor to win by a neck. It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Lookin At Lucky, trained by Mark Casse, now 9-4-0-0 with earnings of $147,644. A two-time OBS graduate, he was consigned by Select Sales to the 2016 Selected Yearling Sale and then sold at the 2017 April Sale by SBM Training & Sales, Agent, for $210,000 after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat. watch his under tack video
