Mahamoud Pootoolal’s Way to Versailles relaxed off the pace in the early going of Woodbine’s $177,550 Royal North Stakes (G2) on Sunday, moved up to reach the leaders at the top of the stretch and kept coming to get up in the final yards and score by a nose. It’s the first stakes victory for the 4-year-old Florida-bred filly by Tizway, trained by Kevin Attard, now 10-4-2-1 with $197,666 in earnings. Pinnacle Racing Stable LLC and Stein Racing LLC’s Bella Vincenza picked up her third straight win and first stakes victory in the $75,000 Added Elegance Stakes at Gulfstream on Saturday, circling horses on the turn, taking command inside the final furlong and drawing off to win by a length and an half. Fellow OBS graduate Sweet Tooth Haven (June ’16) checked in third.  The 4-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Biondetti is a two-time OBS graduate, purchased as a weanling out of the Caballo Grande consignment at the 2014 Fall Mixed Sale before she was sold for $66,000 by Woodford Thoroughbreds, Agent, at the 2016 April Sale after breezing a quarter in :21 3/5 at the Under Tack Show. watch her under tack video

Kim Jin Young’s Korean sprint champion Doraonpogyeongseon found room on the rail, took command of Sunday’s $456,286 Busan Mayor’s Cup Stakes at Busan 300 meters from home, and drew off to a three length victory over fellow OBS graduate Mighty Ssing (April ’17). The 5-year-old Florida-bred son of Kantharos is also a two time veteran of the OBS Sales ring, sold by Hunter Valley Farm, Agent, at the 2014 Selected Sale of Yearlings and then purchased for $50,000 out of the Grassroots Training & Sales consignment at the 2015 April Sale after an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5.
