Curragh Stables’ Broadway Run led at every call in Monday’s $100,000 Coronation Cup Stakes on the Saratoga turf course, held off a late charge by fellow OBS graduate Originator (June ’17) and beat her by three quarters of a length. It’s the first stakes win for the lightly raced 3-year-old Florida-bred filly by Prospective, who turned in an Under Tack quarter in :21 2/5 before she was purchased for $120,000 by Curragh out of the Ocala Stud consignment at the 2017 OBS April Sale.
