Moore Management LLC and Brad Grady’s Mom’s On Strike was circling horses on the turn, surging to the lead a furlong from home drawing off to win Keeneland’s $150,000 Bewitch Stakes (G3) on Friday by 3-1/4 lengths. It’s the first graded stakes victory for the 5-year-old Florida-bred mare by First Dude, trained by Joe Sharp, now 15-6-4-1 with $385,375 in earnings. Live Oak Plantation’s Let It Ride Mom made her 2018 debut in Woodbine’s $218,250 Whimsical Stakes (G3) on Saturday, rallied from well off the pace and was up in the final strides to score by a head. It’s the first graded stakes win for the 4-year-old daughter of Into Mischief, now 11-4-3-0 with earnings of $246,019 for trainer Mark Casse. Heider Family Stables LLC’s Lady Alexandra sat just off the pace in the early going of Belmont’s $100,000 License Fee Stakes on Sunday, took command in the upper stretch and drew away to a 3-1/2 length victory. It’s the first stakes win for the 4-year-old filly by More Than Ready, purchased for $300,000 out of the Niall Brennan Stables consignment at the 2016 OBS March Sale after breezing an eighth in :10 1/5 at the Under Tack Show. Tyree Jacqueline Wolesensky’s Pain and Misery rallied to take the lead in Saturday’s $75,000 Gus Fonner Stakes at Fonner Park in the stretch, then drew off late to win by 3-1/4 lengths. It’s the third stakes win for the 6-year-old gelding by Bob and John, trained by Edward Kereluk, now 31-6-7-8 with $499,432 in earnings.
