Kantharos colt fastest at Spring Sale’s third Under Tack session

Hip No. 531, a son of Kantharos consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent, worked a quarter in :20 4/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at the third session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2018 Spring Sale of Two Year Olds in Training. The chestnut colt is out of Jungle Love, by Friendly Lover, a half sister to grade one stakes winning OBS graduate Set Play.

Three horses worked quarters in :21 flat.

  • Hip No. 474, a bay colt by Candy Ride (ARG) consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent, is out of High On the Hill, by Fusaichi Pegasus, a half sister to graded stakes winner Lil’s Lad.
  • Hip No. 534, consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent, is a dark bay or brown filly by Malibu Moon out of Just Joyful, by Street Boss, a half sister to champion Boston Harbor.
  • Hip No. 592, consigned by Niall Brennan, is a gray or roan colt by Tapit out of Lindsay’s Way, by Giant’s Causeway, a half sister to grade one winner Startac.
