Allen Racing LLC and Bloom Racing Stable LLC’s Midnight Bisou, who broke her maiden in the Santa Ynez Stakes (G2) in January, made it two straight graded stakes wins on Saturday, taking the lead turning for home in the $100,000 Santa Ysabel Stakes (G3) and drawing away to a 2-1/4 length victory. The 3-year-old daughter of Midnight Lute turned in an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5 prior to her purchase for $80,000 by Jeffrey Bloom out of the Woodford Thoroughbreds consignment at the 2017 OBS April Sale. Now 4-2-2-0 for trainer Bill Spawr, she has earned $210,000 to date.  watch her under tack video

Ken and Sarah Ramsey’s 2016 Queen’s Plate winner Sir Dudley Digges found southern latitudes to his liking on Saturday, coming from off the pace and getting up in the final strides to take the $107,000 Barbados Gold Cup by half a length at Garrison Savannah. Fellow OBS graduate Infrared (April ’15, August ’14) checked in third. The 5-year-old son of Gio Ponti, trained by Mike Maker, is now 23-7-7-3 with $880,564 in earnings. Consigned to the 2015 OBS June Sale by Thomas and Casse, Agent for Global Thoroughbreds, he breezed an eighth in :10 1/5 at the Under Tack Show before he was purchased for $130,000 by Patti Miller, EQB, Agent, on behalf of the Ramseys. watch his under tack video

Scrivener Stables Trust Factor sat just off the pace in the early going of the $60,000 Dixie Poker Ace Stakes at Fair Grounds on Saturday, was blocked trying to get through on the rail after turning for home, finally found room a sixteenth from home and got up at the wire to win by a nose. It’s the second stakes win for the 5-year-old son of Paddy O’Prado, sold to Karen Scrivener by Potrero Stables, Agent, for $12,000 at the 2015 OBS June Sale after working an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5. Trained by Mike Maker, he’s now 15-7-4-2 and has earned $284,000. watch his under tack video
