It’s the first stakes win for the now 4-year-old colt by Niagara Causeway, trained by Joseph Russo, who ended his 3-year-old campaign 13-5-0-4 with earnings of $135,173. Flurry Racing Stables LLC’s Mr. Misunderstood ended his 3-year-old campaign with seven wins in eight starts, taking command of Saturday’s $75,000 Woodchopper Stakes at Fair Grounds after turning for home and drawing off to victory by a length an three quarters. It’s the fifth straight stakes win for the graded stakes winning gelding by Archarcharch, consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds, Agent, to the 2016 OBS March Sale, and sold for $130,000 after breezing an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5.
