The supplemental catalog to the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2017 June Sale of Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age is now available on the company’s website at obssales.com. It features Two-Year-Olds by a strong group of proven and promising sires, a roster that includes Bodemeister, Curlin, Into Mischief, Maclean’s Music, Malibu Moon, Orb, Speightstown, Tapit, Uncle Mo, Violence and War Front.
Five older horses and 68 Two-Year-Olds have been supplemented and will sell after the Racing Age section as Hip No’s 697 – 769 on the sale’s second day, Wednesday, June 14th. The supplemental catalog will be available at the sales grounds and on the OBS website. All supplemented horses will breeze at the fourth Under Tack session on Saturday, June 10th.
There are now 755 two-year-olds and 12 older horses cataloged for the two-day sale, set for Tuesday June 13th and Wednesday, June 14th, with both sessions beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The Under Tack Show will be divided into four sessions, scheduled for Wednesday, June 7th through Saturday, June 10th, with each session beginning at 7:30 a.m. Hip No.’s 1 – 200 will breeze on Wednesday, Hip No.’s 201 – 400 go on Thursday, Hip No.’s 401 – 600 will work on Friday, and Hip No.’s 601 – 769 will go on Saturday.
As always, the sale and Under Tack Show will be streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com, and also via the Blood-Horse and DRF websites. The works will be available on DVD and on the OBS website, the video array in the rear of the auditorium, new Video Room adjacent to the Horsemen’s Lounge and at kiosks in the breezeway, Horsemen’s Lounge, Video Room and covered walking ring. In-room viewing is available at The Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and the Ocala Hilton, plus lounge viewing is available at the Hilton.
Current information about OBS sales, consignors and graduates is now also available via social media sites Facebook and Twitter. A link on the homepage directs users to either site.
