It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Maclean’s Music, who was sold for $210,000 by Eddie Woods, Agent, after speeding a quarter in :20 3/5 at the Under Tack Show prior to the 2016 OBS April Sale. Now 5-3-0-0 for trainer Ron Moquett, he has earned $165,550. watch his under tack video

Rockingham Ranch’s Stormy Liberal took command of Santa Anita’s $80,305 Joe Hernandez Stakes turning for home then held off a late charge and won by a nose. It’s the second straight stakes win for the 5-year-old graded stakes placed son of Stormy Atlantic, who turned in an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5 before he was purchased for $100,00 out of the Wavertree Stables consignment at the 2014 OBS June Sale.
