John C. Oxley’s La Coronel and Allan P. Peterson’s Majestic Gale are named in the Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1). La Coronel was a winner of the Jessamine (G3) at Keeneland last time out and Majestic Gale scored in the Happy Ticket Stakes at Louisiana Downs in September.

Reddam Racing LLC’s Fair Grounds Oaks (G3) winner Land Over Sea is the lone OBS entrant in the Distaff (G1).

Five fillies give OBS a strong hand in the Juvenile Fillies (G1) on Saturday, a race that should decide the division championship. Ciaglia Racing LLC’s Sorrento Stakes (G3) winner Champagne Room is entered as is Michael J. Ryan’s Colorful Charades, third in the Frizette (G1) at Belmont last time out. Chadds Ford Stable’s Dancing Rags, winner of Keeneland’s Alcibiades (G1) in her last start will go, as will Speedway Stable LLC’s Noted and Quoted, who captured the G1 Chandelier Stakes at Santa Anita earlier this month. Ruis Racing LLC’s Union Strike, who scored in the Del Mar Debutante (G1) in September, completes the strong OBS contingent.

There are four fillies entered in the Filly and Mare Sprint (G1). Kaleem Shah’s multiple graded stakes placed stakes winning Enchanting Lady will go, as will Reddam Racing LLC’s 2015 Alcibiades (G1) winner Gomo. Gary Barber & Sequel Racing’s Haveyougoneaway won Saratoga’s prestigious Ballerina (G1) in her last start and is set to go as is Treadway Racing Stable’s multiple stakes winner Wonder Gal.

J Stables, M. Scott Summers, Hope Summers and Daniel Summers’ Mind Your Biscuits will carry the OBS banner by himself in the Sprint (G1). He captured Saratoga’s Amsterdam Stakes (G2) this past summer.

Four of the seven OBS graduates entered the Turf Sprint (G1) are fillies taking on the boys. Michael B. Tabor, Mrs. John Magnier and Derrick Smith’s Acapulco was a graded winner at Ascot at two and a stakes winner at three at Churchill Downs. Phaedrus Flights LLC’s Celestine has won a pair of graded stakes this year and Ranlo Investments LLC’s graded stakes winner Lady Shipman, also a world traveler, is back again in the Turf Sprint after missing by a nose at Keeneland last year. Robert Falcone and All Heart Racing Stables’ stakes placed Rumble Doll completes the quartet. Abdullah Saeed Almadaah’s graded stakes placed gelding Green Mask has also put his passport to good use, competing in stakes from the U.S. to Hong Kong to Dubai. Head of Plains LLC, Haynes & Knight et al’s San Simeon Stakes (G3) winner Guns Loaded is entered and Gary Hartunian’s gelded graded stakes placed Stormy Liberal completes the OBS lineup.

The Eclipse Award is likely on the line in the Juvenile (G1) with a trio of OBS graduates looking to stake their claim. Kaleem Shah’s Klimt took the Best Pal (G2) and Del Mar Futurity (G1) this summer then settled for second in the FrontRunner (G1) at Santa Anita. Eric Fein, Christopher McKenna and Harris Fein’s Syndergaard is a nose from three for three after just missing in the Champagne (G1) last time out. China Horse Club and Winstar Farm’s Theory, the talk of Saratoga after breaking his maiden at first asking, returned to action and captured the Futurity (G3) at Belmont in his only other start.
