Super Saver, War Front colts fastest at March Under Tack Show’s first session

A pair of colts consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent, sped quarters in :20 3/5 to post the fastest works at the distance at the first session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2016 March Sale of Two Year Olds in Training.

Hip No. 92, a bay colt by Super Saver, is out of stakes winner Lunargal, by Yes It’s True, a half sister to graded stakes winners Lunarpal and freshman sire Astrology.

Hip No. 101, a dark bay or brown colt by War Front, is out of grade one stakes winner and champion Maryfield, by Elusive Quality.

Six horses turned in quarters in :20 4/5, four of them consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent.

Hip No. 13, a bay Giant’s Causeway filly, is out of High On the Hill, by Fusaichi Pegasus, a half sister to graded stakes winner Lil’s Lad. Hip No. 31, a bay colt by Quality Road, is out of stakes placed Inventive, by Dixie Union. Hip No. 87, a bay colt by Ghostzapper out of Little Swoon, by You and I, is a half brother to graded stakes winner Melmich. Hip No. 97 is a bay filly by Pioneerof the Nile out of Malibu Clan, by Malibu Moon, a half sister to graded stakes winning OBS graduate Cinco Charlie, winner of the recent Duncan F. Kenner stakes at Fair Grounds.

Hip No. 163, a chestnut colt by Trappe Shot consigned by Doble Jak LLC, Agent, is out of Orient Shopper, by Orientate, a half sister to graded stakes winner Put It Back.

Hip No. 200, consigned by Journeyman Bloodstock Services, Inc. (Brent & Crystal Fernung), Agent, is a bay colt by Caleb’s Posse out of stakes placed Readybdancing, by More Than Ready.

Fourteen youngsters shared honors for the session’s fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :9 4/5.

Four were consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent. Hip No. 29, a chestnut filly by Shackleford, is out of stakes winner Into Reality, by Untuttable, and is a half sister to stakes winner Meadowood. Hip No. 80, a chestnut colt by Tale of the Cat, is out of graded stakes placed stakes winner Lentil, by Alphabet Soup. Hip No. 124 is a bay filly by More Than Ready out of Miss Valiant, by Valiant Nature, and a half sister to stakes winner Fearsome. Hip No. 126, Merry Mischief, is a bay filly by Into Mischief out of Miss Veronica, by Distorted Humor, a daughter of graded stakes placed stakes winner Birr.

Hip No. 20, consigned by Craig L. Wheeler, Agent, is a bay colt by Gone Astray out of Honour Isabel, by Honour and Glory,  a half sister to stakes winner Portside.

Hip No. 43, J Lo Style, consigned by Price Bloodstock, Agent, is a bay filly by Into Mischief out of J Lo On the Go, by Swedaus, a half sister to the dam of stakes placed Moonwalker.

Hip No. 64, a dark bay or brown filly by Trappe Shot consigned by Peggy S. Dellheim LLC, Agent, is out of Krista, by Jump Start, a half sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner Peppi Knows.

Hip No. 73, consigned by SBM Training and Sales, Agent. is a bay filly by Into Mischief out of stakes placed Lanai City, by Carson City, a half sister to graded stakes winner Eagleton.

Hip No. 91, consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent, is a dark bay or brown filly by Wildcat Heir out of Love in Bloom, by More Than Ready, a daughter of graded stakes placed stakes winner Pretty Jane.

Hip No. 116, a chestnut filly by Big Drama consigned by Southern Chase Farm, Inc. (Greg & Karen Dodd), Agent, is out of Miss Grandiose, by Grand Slam, a half sister to graded stakes placed stakes winner It’sallinthechase.

Hip No. 167, consigned by Crupi’s New Castle Farm, Agent, is a gray or roan colt by Hansen out of Palomanegra, by Grand Slam, a half sister to graded stakes winning OBS graduate Falling Sky.

Hip No. 171, consigned by Jules Davies, Agent, is a gray or roan colt by Gemologist out of graded stakes placed stakes winner Penny Marie, by Sky Classic, and is a half brother to graded stakes placed Centrique.

Hip No. 178, a bay filly by Maclean’s Music consigned by Woodfored Thoroughbreds, Agent, is out of Placerita, by Gilded Time, and is a half sister to stakes winner Saturday Nite Ride.

Hip No. 189, Masci, a full brother to graded stakes placed stakes winner She’s All Ready, consigned by Crupi’s New Castle Farm, Agent, is a gray or roan colt by Girolamo out of Prominent, by El Prado (IRE).
