Utopia (JPN) filly fastest at second Spring Sale Under Tack session

Hip No. 479, a daughter of Utopia (JPN) consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent, breezed a quarter in :20 4/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at the second session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2014 Spring Sale of Two Year Olds in Training. The bay filly is out of Private Escort, by Dance With Ravens, from the family of stakes winner Cynics Beware.

Five horses worked quarters in :21 flat.

Hip No. 393, consigned by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent, is a bay colt by Warrior’s Reward out of stakes placed New Dimension, by Golden Missile.

Hip No. 405, Daddy’s Reasons, is a chestnut filly by Scat Daddy consigned by Blue River Bloodstock, Agent, out of Numerous Reasons, by Numerus, a half sister to graded stakes winner La Reason. Blue River also consigned Hip No. 480, a chestnut colt by Kantharos out of Private Prom Party, by Private Terms, and a half brother to stakes winning OBS graduate Ribo Bobo.

Hip No. 345, Flaming Hot Salsa, is a dark bay or brown colt by Two Step Salsa consigned by Nickajack/Rey de Oros, Agent, out of Miss Flaming, by Diablo, a half sister to stakes winning OBS graduate Jaye’s Hope.

Hip No. 388, Gingermore, consigned by Thoroughbred Friends & Associates, is a bay filly by Two Step Salsa out of stakes placed Native Talk, by Timeless Native.

Gayle Woods, Agent, consigned Hip No. 389, a bay filly by Kantharos out of Naturally Clever, by Clever Trick, a daughter of stakes winner Natural Grace.

Hip No. 439, Mr. Peek, a dark bay or brown Temple City colt consigned by Tres Potrillos, is out of Peekaboo Mission, by Strategic Mission, from the family of graded stakes winner Powder Bowl.

Three youngsters shared honors for the session’s fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :9 4/5.
