Peachtree Stable’s Georgia went to the lead at the start of the first race of the Santa
Anita meeting, pressed by fellow 2013 OBS April graduate Be Proud. The 2-year-old filly by Tiz Wonderful refused to yield, and pulled away in the stretch of the one mile maiden special test and won by four lengths with Be Proud second best. A two time OBS graduate, Georgia went through the ring at the 2012 August Sale before being sold for $200,000 by de Meric Sales, Agent, after a quarter in :21 2/5 at the April Under Tack Show.
