Jaam Racing’s Alberts Hope swept to the lead turning for home in Sunday’s $150, 250 Best Pal Stakes (G2) at Del Mar, then held off a challenge by Celtic Moon (April ’13, August ’12, January ’12) and won by half a length, with Guns Loaded (April ’13, August ’12) completing an OBS trifecta. It’s the second win in as many starts for the 2-year-old gelding by Run Away and Hide, consigned by Pelican State Thoroughbreds to the 2012 OBS August Sale.
