Farnsworth Stables LLC’s Golden Mystery took charge of Gulfstream’s $150, 000 Florida Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Sprint Stakes on Saturday in the upper stretch then pulled away to a 5-1/2 length victory. It’s the second stakes win for the 7-year-old mare by Awesome Again, sold for $27, 000 at the 2008 Adena Springs Sale. The win gives her a 37-8-7-4 record and earnings of $450,223. watch her under tack video

Kaleem Shah’s Brigand went to the lead and never looked back in Sunday’s $73,500 TurnoftheCentury Stakes at Aqueduct, winning by 2-3/4 lengths with fellow OBS graduate Socialsaul (August ’09) checking in third. That’s two straight stakes wins for Brigand, who topped the 2011 OBS March Sale when sold by Eisaman Equine for $925,000. The 4-year-old son of Flatter is now 13-5-5-0 and has earned $333,820 to date. watch his under tack video
