Davis’s Master Rick stepped into Oaklawn’s $98, 000 Northern Spur Stakes off a maiden win and found the company to his liking, fighting for the lead between horses on the turn before pulling away and winning his first stakes race by a length and a quarter. The two time OBS graduate was sold by Summerfield, Agent, at the 2010 August Sale before being purchased for $47,000 out of the D S B Stable consignment at the 2011 April Sale.
