Tuesday’s session begins at 1:00 p.m. to give horsemen additional time for inspection; the Wednesday session begins at 10:30 a.m.

The sale will be streamed live on the internet via the OBS website.

Fall Sale weanling graduates enjoyed great success at the races in 2011. Fall Sale graduates Giant Ryan, Flat Out and Vexor dominated the headlines on the first weekend in October, scoring major stakes wins at Belmont Park. Giant Ryan added the Vosburgh Stakes (G1) to his previous win in Calder’s Smile Sprint Handicap (G2) and Suburban Stakes (G2) winner Flat Out punched his ticket to the Breeders’ Cup Classic with a victory in the Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1). The following day, Vexor claimed a spot among the leaders of the 2-year-old division with a score in the Nashua Stakes (G2), joining fellow Fall Sale graduate Currency Swap, winner of the Hopeful Stakes (G1) at Saratoga. Additionally, Duke of Mischief and Wildcat Marie won graded stakes earlier in the year.

There are 169 weanlings in the Fall Mixed Sale, featuring youngsters by prominent sires Afleet Alex, Birdstone, Congrats, El Corredor, Posse, Roman Ruler and Yes It’s True.

Promising young stallions with weanlings in the sale include Tiz Wonderful, Scat Daddy, Old Fashioned, Dunkirk, Master Command, Spring at Last, Half Ours, Student Council, U S Ranger and Magna Graduate.
