Shivananda Parbhoo’s Giant Ryan picked up his first stakes win on Wednesday at Aqueduct, taking the $58, 800 Hamlet Stakes by half a length, with fellow OBS graduate Driven by Solar (June ’08) checking in third. The three-time OBS graduate was first consigned by Burleson Farms LLC, Agent, to the 2006 October Sale, then consigned by M & H Training and Sales, Agent, to the 2008 March Sale before being sold by M & H for $27,000 at the 2008 June Sale. After his second straight win, the 5-year-old son of Freud is now 10-4-1-1 and has earned $129,411.
