Footnotes |
|
THE NAME'S BOND stalked the pace for five furlongs,
bid four wide out of the second turn, dueled past mid stretch
then drew off late. COACH JIMI LEE bid three wide after five
furlongs, dueled with the winner past the furlong marker then
hung late while second best. JUST SAY THE WORD stalked inside,
got through along the rail in the turn to challenge for the lead,
dueled to mid stretch then weakened. SUPERVISOR made a middle
move to be in striking distance out of the second turn but failed
to sustain that rally. LETTERS set the pace inside to the quarter
pole then weakened. FREEDOM LANE raced evenly. SMART TALE failed
to menace. FALSE PROMISES showed little. |
