Trained by Kelly Von Hemel, the 2-year-old daughter of Into Mischief has earned $80,696 to date. Mario Silva’s Bonita picked up her first stakes win on Sunday in Gulfstream’s $50,000 Panama City Handicap. The 4-year-old Florida-bred filly by Bluegrass Cat trailed in the early going, but angled out for the drive and ran past the entire field in the stretch and scored by three quarters of a length.
