William L. Clifton’s Our Way moved up on the turn of the $100,000 Sunshine Millions Turf Stakes, went after the leaders in the stretch and was up in the final yards to score by a neck. It’s the second stakes win for the 3-year-old Florida-bred gelding by Tizway, purchased for $140,000 out of the Parrish Farms consignment at the 2015 OBS March Sale after breezing an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5. Tommy Roberts Racing Stable LLC’s Early Entry tracked the early leader in Saturday’s $100,000 Sunshine Millions Sprint Stakes into the stretch, stuck his head in front in the final furlong and stayed there to the wire, winning by half a length. Idle since his victory in Gulfstream’s Rail Splitter Stakes last February, the 6-year-old son of Keyed Entry, trained by Kathleen O’Connell, is now 23-9-2-2 and has earned $299,742. After breezing an eighth in :10 3/5 at the Under Tack Show prior to the 2015 OBS April Sale, the newly turned 4-year-old daughter of Street Hero was purchased for $23,000 by Mr. Landaeta out of the Winners Circle Thoroughbreds consignment.
