Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company, Inc. will be conducting Quarter Horse racing on Tuesday January 24, 2017 in conjunction with the OBS January Winter Mixed Sale and OBS Championship Races for 3 year old sale graduates. Located in Ocala, Florida, the races will be run over the OBS Safetrack surface, a one mile oval with a quarter mile straightaway
Seven quarter horse races are scheduled to be held, with entries taken on Tuesday, January 17. The races are for three year olds and older and include maiden races; allowance races for horses that have never won two races lifetime or have not won a race in 2016 or 2017; and open allowance races at distances from 220 yards to 440 yards with purses ranging from $3,500 to $7,000.
