Bode’s Dream takes Gulfstream’s House Party Stakes

St. Elias Stable’s unbeaten Bode’s Dream went to the front at the start of Saturday’s $75, 000 House Party Stakes at Gulfstream and never looked back, rolling to a 2-3/4 length victory with fellow OBS graduate Brahms Cat (June ’16) checking in third.  Three for three with two stakes wins for trainer Todd Pletcher, the 2-year-old daughter of Bodemeister has earned $180,105 to date. Consigned by Crupi’s New Castle Farm, Agent, to the 2016 OBS March Sale, she worked an eighth in :9 4/5 at the Under Tack Show. watch her under tack video

Magic Stables LLC’s Lirica picked up her first stakes win at Gulfstream on Saturday, rallying to take charge of the $75,000 Hut Hut Stakes approaching the eighth pole, opening a big lead and easing home from there a winner by a length. The 2-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Kantharos is a two time OBS graduate, purchased out the Woodford Thoroughbreds consignment at the 2014 Winter Mixed Sale and then sold by Summerfield (Francis & Barbara Vanlangendonck), Agent, for $20,000 at the 2015 August Yearling Sale. Maggi Moss’ Big World took the lead on the turn of Fair Grounds’ $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Ladies Stakes on Saturday, turned back a stretch challenge a furlong from home and held on to post her third stakes victory by a neck. Fellow OBS graduate Pacific Pink (April ’14) settled for third. Trained by Tom Amoss, she’s now 8-4-0-4 and has earned $318,600. The graded stakes winning 3-year-old filly by Custom for Carlos was consigned by Summerfield (Francis & Barbara Vanlangendonck), Agent, to the 2014 OBS August Sale and purchased for $98,000 by Patrice Miller, EQB, Inc., Agent.  Selected Sale conformation photo

Dundalk 5 LLC’s Miss Mo Kelly tried stakes company for the first time in Sunday’s $100,000 She’s All In Stakes at Remington Park, and the 4-year-old daughter of Congrats came from far back, took command with a rush at the eighth pole and cruised from there to a two length victory. Now 18-3-6-3 for trainer Paul Holthus, she has earned $216,841. She turned in an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5 before she was purchased for $75,000 out of the Niall Brennan Stables consignment at the 2014 OBS April Sale. watch her under tack video
