Bode’s Dream wins Belmont’s Astoria Stakes

St. Elias Stable’s Bode’s Dream is two for two and a stakes winner after setting the pace in the $197, 000 Astoria Stakes at Belmont Park on Thursday and never looking back en route to a 2-3/4 length victory. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the 2-year-old filly by Bodemeister is the first stakes winner for her sire, and has earned $135,000 to date. Consigned by Crupi’s New Castle Farm, Agent, to the 2016 OBS March Sale, she worked an eighth in :9 4/5 at the Under Tack Show.  watch her under tack video
