Alpha Delta Stables’ Ancient Secret is three for three and a stakes winner after putting in a strong late run and getting up in the final yards to win Sunday’s $100, 000 Wild Applause Stakes at Belmont Park by a head. She was purchased for $225,000 by Steve Young, Agent, out of the de Meric Sales consignment at the 2015 OBS April Sale after turning in an Under Tack quarter in :21 1/5. The 3-year-old daughter of Kantharos, trained by Chad Brown, has earned $139,200 to date. watch her under tack video

Hronis Racing LLC’s Uptown Twirl scored her second straight stakes win on Saturday, taking charge of the $65,000 Pleasanton Oaks a furlong from home and easing away to a two length victory. Fellow OBS graduate Andean (April ’15) checked in third. That’s three wins in five starts this year for the 3-year-old filly by Twirling Candy, sold to Lane’s End Bloodstock for $630,000 at the 2015 OBS March Sale by Halcyon Hammock Farm, Agent, after breezing and eighth in :10 flat at the Under Tack Show. Trained by John Sadler, she’s now 8-4-1-0 and has earned $166,214. watch her under tack video

Kretz Racing LLC’s Mr. Roary picked a nice spot to break his maiden, going to the front at the start of Saturday’s $85,320 Rainbow Stakes at Santa Anita and staying there all the way, holding off a late charge by Hopeful Stakes (G1) winner Ralis and winning by a nose. Trained by George Papaprodromou, he’s now 9-1-2-1 and has earned $84,895. The 3-year-old Scat Daddy gelding, consigned to the 2015 OBS April Sale by Off the Hook LLC, Agent, was purchased for $110,000 by Gayle Van Leer, Agent, after an Under Tack eighth in :10 3/5. watch his under tack video
